New to the net? Listen for the Net Control Station and follow their check-in instructions. Please use your FCC-issued call sign when transmitting.
What to expect
A simple, organized check-in.
The Net Control Operator will open the net, announce the purpose and check-in procedure, and invite stations by category. When called, give your call sign, name, location or healthcare facility, and whether you have traffic for the net.
Always follow the direction of Net Control. In an actual emergency, priority and emergency traffic take precedence over routine check-ins.
